With more troubled children from broken homes needing more help than there are places for them, the state essentially “warehouses” kids. Their priority is keeping facilities open to clear their dockets, regardless of the known horrors taking place. Instead of investigating and closing these homes, the state turns a blind eye.
“They were basically using these group homes as warehouses for foster care children, stacking them up like cord wood and seeing no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”
The nightmares of Boys Village need to be brought into the light. The State and churches running these group homes need to be held accountable.
