I can't sing high enouph praises for Darrell Cochran and his team. They represented me in federal court and we won against a fortune 500 company. Darrell has a keen sense of justice. He goes after it like a pitbull and doesn't let go until justice is served. I met Darrell approximately 10 years ago when I brought a suit against the state Of Washington and Kiwanis vocational home for abuse I sustained as a child ,and from the onset. I understood that it was gonna be difficult to find a lawyer to put the amount of energy time and resources into this case that was going to be necessary in order to be successful due to the fact that Attorneys General’s office for the state of Washington, the Kiwanis international , And the huge insurance companies, had In exhaustible resources at their disposal and a vested interest in covering up the truth and in addition to that I understood that It was gonna take a lawyer with considerable courage in order to put his own career and time away from his family in order to litigate this case and many other things on the line in order to be successful.. I am happy to report the Darrell was able to give me resources and compensation well north of what I expected any attorney could possibly fathom and in an addition to that after 10 years he’s still fighting the attorneys for the insurance companies who have dug their heels in countless times in court As well as an appeal court, at hearings or in oral arguments , motion hearings , etc..the list goes on and on the effort involved in this case by Darrell is just extraordinary.. I have many friends who Have been represented by Darrell for various cases involving medical malpractice, car injuries, sexual assault, as well as other cases and in each case each of my friends has been completely satisfied and overwhelmed by the results that Darrell was able to provide for them.. Darrell doesn’t take cases because they’re low hanging fruit. He takes them because he believes in something he believes in civil rights he believes that the little guy should have a chance in court and he believes that good people have to stand up against tyranny and atrocities inflicted on the less represented portion of our society in order to balance the scales. It’s my opinion that that’s why he became a lawyer,, after 10 years I consider Darrell friend. Even to this day he continues to help me in my endeavors and continues to represent me 10 years after our initial meeting, ,,you don’t meet guys like this very often so if you’re fortunate enough to get a guy like this to represent you, consider yourself lucky because he’s a goddamn good lawyer . I had searched for a lawyer to take my case for almost 3 years. It was a tough one (dealing with COVID) and 4 law firms had taken it on, only to give up. Then I read an article in my local paper where Darrell Cochran and his firm had won a case of abuse dating back to the 1980s in my county. This gave me so much hope! So I sent out an email with a few of the documents I had gathered. Darrell called me back on a Sunday and took my case, which had a 3 year statute of limitations that was quickly running out. I had never been involved in a legal issue in my life, so having Darrell and his associates help me understand how it all worked was priceless. I felt like finally, someone was listening. He filed the case before the statute ran out and this fall, we finally settled and I truly felt justice had been served. I felt supported through the entire process and only wish I could have thanked everyone in person when I came to pick up my files, but they were on to helping someone else! I cannot recommend them highly enough. They rescued me. Absolutely the best!
