Madison Lee is a dedicated advocate for individuals navigating complex legal challenges, with a practice grounded in consumer protection and civil justice. She first began exploring the connection between law and everyday life as an undergrad at Wellesley College, where she researched and wrote about the role of popular culture in shaping legal and social understandings. That early interest in how law reflects and protects communities laid the foundation for her future career as an advocate. Her commitment to protecting people took root while in law school through her work with the Digital Rights Project, a pro bono clinic where she focused on privacy and fairness in the digital space and saw firsthand the importance of ensuring that individuals are not left behind as industries evolve. That commitment deepened while writing a paper for a course called Consumer Protection Law that examined the lack of federal regulation in the skincare industry, inspired by the highly publicized DevaCurl lawsuit. Together, these experiences reinforced Madison’s drive to address gaps where consumer health, safety and rights are at stake, sharpening her resolve to hold powerful actors accountable.
Madison earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she paired her litigation training with coursework in intellectual property and business law. She also earned specialized certificates in Law and Technology and Business Law, reflecting her broad understanding of how changing markets and industries affect everyday people.
Outside of her practice, Madison finds joy in visiting local theaters, shopping for vintage finds and exploring new cities. Raised in Manhattan in a family of lawyers, she carries forward a tradition of advocacy while bringing her own curiosity to every case she handles, ensuring that her clients feel seen and heard.
